Fantastic colour, linework, and style. Not a fan of the "clothing" but I doubt you were going for realism, and it works for the composition. I've never seen a ginger as an islander warrior girl before. I don't care for the applied texture, but otherwise I like this a lot.

The arm band goes on the left, the salut is performed with the right. If you're doing a historical piece, you gotta watch your reference, man.
Nice line work, the graphical elements aren't bad, and I like the use of solid black shadows, but overall somewhat lacklustre. Works as a sketch piece, 3/5.

Very creepy, Josh! Might wanna broaden your contrast and watch the detailing in the ends of the hair. Great detailing on the face, though, and I love your palette.
